Travel Around The World With Me

Destinations and Discoveries
In 8th grade, I had the opportunity to explore Puerto Rico, where I fell in love with travel, learning about new cultures, and discovering unfamiliar places. This picture includes The Narrow House, an iconic spot in Puerto Rico.
Puerto Rico

Prague, Czech Republic
While in Prague I got to see incredible castles, iconic bridges, and immersing myself in the culture of Prague was truly amazing.

Ephesus, Turkey
Visiting Ephesus was a life-changing experience. Walking the same paths as people did thousands of years ago was truly eye-opening. This building used to be the library.

Study Abroad
I had an incredible three-week study abroad experience in Greece and Turkey, where I explored Consumer Behavior and Services Marketing and earning some awesome college credit along the way! I got hands-on with real-world applications—from chatting with hotels, restaurants, to exploring shipyards and fisheries—which totally transformed how I see global consumer trends. Analyzing cross-cultural marketing strategies and witnessing firsthand how cultural vibes shape consumer choices was a game changer, leaving me super pumped about a future in Marketing!
TURKEY
While in Turkey, we stayed at a local hotel along the coast of Bodrum, immersing ourselves in the culture for two weeks. During our time there, we visited various businesses, including the Chamber of Commerce, hotels, fisheries, and hospitals. Much like in Greece, it was fascinating to see a different side of business, particularly in relation to service marketing and consumer behavior. We also explored historical sites such as Ephesus and the Museum of the Tomb of Hekatomnos, gaining a deeper appreciation for the region’s rich history. One of the most unforgettable moments was witnessing the entire town of Bodrum come together to celebrate their soccer team’s historic qualification for the Super Lig, Turkey’s top football league, for the first time. The energy and unity of the community were incredible to experience. Overall, Turkey was absolutely beautiful, and I was grateful to see a side of the country that many people don’t often hear about.

GREECE
During our trip to Greece, we sailed to five islands—Kos, Nisyros, Tilos, Rhodes, and Symi. This experience was truly one of a kind. Visiting lesser-known towns, learning from locals, and immersing myself in their culture was incredibly inspiring. While in Greece, we explored temples, museums, and historical sites, met mayors, and spent time with the locals. My favorite place was Tilos, where our tour guide took us around the island to experience its unique way of life. We tried their traditional cuisine, including goat, and got an inside look at how businesses operate on the island—especially from a marketing perspective. Analyzing the different strategies use in this area helped reinforce how important knowing your target customer is. We also visited a local school, explored the island, and, most memorably, connected with the people who call Tilos home.

Love Letter To Greece
One of my favorite things to do is create videos of my travels. Here is a video I made capturing my experience in Greece on my study abroad trip.
